Rockstar Games is getting ready to bring out their next big video game release, Red Dead Redemption 2. The video game will take place prior to the events of Red Dead Redemption and as a result, you will see a few familiar faces. While Rockstar is gearing up for its big video game launch, the studio has begun to tease out new information for what gamers can expect to see when the title does become available.
The latest tease showcases some of the characters you’ll meet along the way and as a result, you’ll see the likes of John Marston return. There are currently only images available at the moment with a small quote but you can view all of the images teased so far within the gallery down below.
As for the game itself, this narrative journey will take place in 1899 where the government has started to purge out all of the gangs that control the Wild West. This had made it difficult for our new protagonist, Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van Der Linde gang as they find themselves on the run across the country.
In a previous gameplay reveal, we know that there will be a few enhancements since the last time we roamed the open west. Combat and morale systems have been finely tuned and it seems that there will be an incentive to choose what horse you take on various journeys as some animals will be better suited for different weather conditions.
Currently, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launching on October 26, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
