Activision took to their blog to discuss that latest feature to grace Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 — Signature Weapons.
Now many of you will think automatically, oh great here we go with the variation of guns, but you would be wrong. Signature guns will only have cosmetic variation, no stat boosts, nothing. So that is a plus.
Players will be able to complete challenges for individual guns which will give them new cosmetic items for that gun. Each challenge completed will help you reach the mastercraft version of that gun.
Activision also noted that players who pre-order the game will get special access to a signature weapon day one. Check out the full descriptions of signature guns and pre-order bonuses down below:
Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe, Digital Deluxe Enhanced, Pro Edition or Mystery Box Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will receive the MX-9 Signature Weapon on Day 1.
Players who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 specifically at GameStop will receive the Strife pistol Signature Weapon: “Divinity” on Day One. Players that complete in-game challenges with the Divinity and manage to unlock all of its rewards can wield the golden “Divine Justice” and showcase their skill and dedication to friends and foes alike.
