EA Has Officially Delayed Battlefield V

August 30, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Battlefield V pushed back for a release in November.

Fall of this year is already hosting a number of incredibly anticipated video game title releases. However, one of those titles was just delayed. EA has officially confirmed that the upcoming Battlefield installment, Battlefield V, will be delayed by a month. Luckily gamers won’t have to wait very much longer but this does give Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 a bit of an advantage as the game will be releasing over a month earlier now.

This latest Battlefield installment will follow World War II where it seems that we’ll get a look at the war from an assortment of different characters, much like the game’s predecessor, Battlefield 1. Originally, the game was announced to be released on October 19, 2018, but now the game has been pushed back to November 20, 2018.

Again, this only delays the game for a month where according to an EA statement, it will allow the development team to make some final adjustments to the overall gameplay. With that said, the open beta for the game will still kickoff on September 6, 2018.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 may seem a bit more enticing for players who can’t wait since the game releases on October 12, 2018, but unlike Battlefield V, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 does not have a standard campaign aspect. Instead, the game will focus on the multiplayer component.

Regardless, the fall season is full of anticipated video game titles such as Spider-Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
