Tyler Hunter, who previously worked on Blizzard titles including StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3 as an artist, has announced the first title from his new indie game studio, LifeSpark Entertainment, called Rack N Ruin.
According to the press release LifeSpark took "cues from classics such as the Legend of Zelda series, while infusing the action with the modern trapping of The Binding of Isaac, Rack N Ruin stars a demonic wizard with a flair for choas and destruction.
"As Rack, players will discover a wide open overworld to explore, as well as a collection of devilish dungeons, all meticulously hand-crafted by Hunter and his team.
"But Rack N Ruin isn't about saving the world. It's about corrupting it."
Rack is a demon who has been tasked by his master with taking control of a world in order to avoid being "cast into the void for eternity" but the demon has no intention of obeying his orders.
The game is set to be released on PC and Mac in 2014 and iOS and Android versions will follow. For more information, check out the game's website.
