As Jim Peyton struggles with the harsh, icy weather conditions of the planet E.D.N. III, he also struggles with the idea of survival in this latest Lost Planet 3 trailer.
Jim Peyton narrates this trailer in his monologue speaking about living on E.D.N. III. From the NEVEC's base on the planet, Jim sends updates about the environments and creatures he finds while exploring. He will fight the weather, fight his will to press forward and fight whatever creatures adapted enough to the environment to sustain life.
When his will falters, Jim thinks of his family and the right he earned to live.
To learn more about the planet E.D.N. III, you can visit Coronis Diary which provides transmissions about the planet thus far. The first transmission details the departure to the planet E.D.N. III and how its existence will save the planet. As the days pass, more transmission will arrive detailing more events about the story.
While the most recent Lost Planet focused on co-op play, Lost Planet 3 looks to take a different direction with the idea of exploring an unknown planet alone. The final release will feature a competitive multiplayer mode instead of the co-op monster slaying structure found in Lost Planet 2.
Lost Planet 3 will launch on August 27th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
