Shadow of the Tomb Raider Will Include New Game Plus Mode

Here’s what we know so far when it comes the New Game Plus mode.

Eidos Montreal is prepping for their next big video game launch which will be the latest installment to the Tomb Raider franchise. Players will find that the game will feature a brand new journey for Lara Croft to overcome. However, as it turns out, players who finish the campaign will be finding another new challenge available for them.

This latest installment to the much beloved Tomb Raider franchise will feature Lara Croft who is attempting to stop a potential Mayan apocalypse. However, at her heels are the evil Trinity organization that believes they can control a supernatural artifact in order to shape the world to their will.

As always, Lara is up again an uphill battle where she will need to use stealth, ferocity, and wit in order to accomplish her goals. When players do manage to complete the game then they’ll find themselves unlocking the New Game Plus mode.

With this mode will give players the ability to go through the campaign once again but this time they’ll have all of their skills and unlocks from the previous game. There are also three pathways players will be able to take.

The three modes are known as Serpent, Jaguar and lastly Eagle. Depending on the mode players select will determine the overall game style. For instance, players may find themselves going through the game with more stealth focus gameplay or they could opt for a game that focuses on full frontal assault.

Regardless, all three options will give players unique skills and trails to further unlock for Lara Croft. We’re unsure what these unlocks are at the current moment but we won’t have to wait too much longer.

Currently, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to launch on September 14, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
