During E3 2018 we got the first glimpse of a new upcoming IP called The Quiet Man which is being developed by Human Head Studios and published under Square Enix. The video game, for the most part, didn’t have any fine details regarding what players would be embarking on but from the E3 press conference teaser, it appears that players would be taking on the role of a deaf protagonist.
While we didn’t get much information during the E3 press conference announcement, we now have a new combat gameplay footage readily available to digest. So far this video game is looking more like a beat ’em up style video game where players take on the deaf protagonist named Dane.
As it turns out, Dane is seeking out information regarding a kidnapping of a songstress. This is an action-packed brawler where players will be fighting off a series of thugs in a soundless world.
“Unraveling within a single night, players take the role of deaf protagonist Dane as he fights his way through a “soundless” world to discover the motives behind the kidnapping of a songstress from a mysterious masked man. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled motion picture like experience which can be completed in one sitting.”
We’re interested in seeing just what developers do with this upcoming title however, we do know that this won’t be a lengthy video game narrative. According to the description tossed into the video trailer, it seems that gamers who purchase a copy of the game will be able to complete The Quiet Man in just one sitting.
For now, we don’t have an official release date attached to the project quiet yet but players will find the game on the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
