Activision announced today that the beta for the new battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will begin on September 10. The beta will first debut on PS4, which then will presumably come to Xbox and PC in the following weeks.
The official Call of Duty Twitter account gave us a little 17-second teaser, however, there was no gameplay shown. The video basically tells players that the Blackout mode will have various ways of playing the new battle royale mode including solo, duos or quads. Check out the teaser down below:

There has been very little details about the upcoming battle royale mode. We do know that the game mode will play similar/ identical to other battle royale modes where players will drop into a lobby of people, and compete to be the last one standing. However, the unique part of this is that Activision and Treyarch stated that it will include all sorts of cool callbacks, guns, vehicles, and characters from the Call of Duty franchise. We will see what the new blackout mode has to offer come next month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12.
