Square Enix has released the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn entitled Tour of Eorzea: Part 3 which, as the name suggests, showcases the game's world with footage from both the PC and PS3 versions of the game.
A Realm Reborn is set to be released on August 27th and is currently in Beta. The game maintains the story of the XICV but comes with an entirely reworked game and graphics engine. There will also be a new server structure and a refined interface – among other improvements.
Naoki Yosihda, the game's director and producer, has commented that A Realm Reborn, "has been a long road from the game's inception to the beta, but thanks to your fervent support and invaluable feedback, the world of Eorzea will soon complete its journey of rebirth."
Final Fantasy XIV was originally released in 2010 on PC but was pulled in November 2012 after a host of criticism led Square Enix to rework the game and delay the PS3 launch.
A new trailer for Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns XIII was also revealed today. You can see part one and part two of the Tour of Eorzea trailers below.
