It would be a lie to say that the graphics in Battlefield 3 aren’t among the game’s strongest aspects. Like the upcoming game, Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3 ranks among one of the best looking, and most gorgeous games currently in existence. It’s rivaled only by the likes of Crysis 3 and Metro: Last Light.
Part of what makes the game as stunning as it is is its realistic depiction of warfare, but more than that are the characters who populate the environment. They may not necessarily behave realistically, as real soldiers do, but they certainly look real. Their faces, in any case, are lifelike.
Interestingly enough, the upcoming game looks even more realistic than its predecessor, which is hard to believe given how realistic the faces in the game already look. To showcase the distinction in the graphical advance, a Battlefield player named krov7 has put together images of two characters—one from Battlefield 3 and the other from Battlefield 4 in a side-by-side (or top-to-bottom) comparison.
