Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Tests Your Might with PC Launch Trailer

July 3, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

All the carnage is finally making its way to the PC in the form of the Komplete Edition.

If you’re a fighting game fan and haven’t yet experienced the most recent Mortal Kombat game, you should probably be ashamed of yourself. Not only does it take everything that fans have loved about the series and bring it all into a modern, pretty-as-can-be package, but the story-driven campaign is actually worth playing from beginning to end. How often do you see a fighting game get the narrative side of things right? Thankfully, PC players now have an excuse to either revisit the wonderful title or see it for the first time on their high-powered rigs, as the Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition on PC is available for download.

All the violence and ninja-fighting action is out on Steam and other digital marketplaces, but you won’t just be getting just the core game that launched in 2011. Instead, the Komplete Edition is packed with all the DLC characters released for the game. That means that Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and Freddy Krueger, as well as the 15 Klassic Mortal Kombat Skins and three Klassic Fatalities, won’t cost you any additional cash. All the engaging multiplayer and single-player features that you’d expect will be supported, too.

It might be a little late to the party, but the PC version of Mortal Kombat looks to make up for its long journey with enough DLC to keep fans interested for months to come. If robots and ninjas aren’t your thing, though, don’t forget that NetherRealm released another fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us, earlier this year.
