Ubisoft will be bringing Assassin Creed IV’s Jackdaw to SDCC 2013

July 3, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

will also have recreated Chicago in Ubisoft booth for Watch_Dogs

Coming after Wayforward and Capcom's recreated Ducktales money vault in the iam8bit exhibit and Nintendo's theme park like presence last E3, Ubisoft is bringing Jackdaw, the now infamous ship from upcoming game Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, to this year's San Diego Comic Con.

Jackdaw will be placed at 5th Avenue Landing, behind the San Diego Convention center, and open to the public July 19 to 20, from 10 AM to 7 PM. It will be an actual three level structure attendees can enter to see live weapon demonstrations from historian Mike Loades, as well as play demos of the game, including its multiplayer and Game Lab modes. Todd McFarlane will also be in attendance in Jackdaw on the 19th, 4 to 7 PM and the 20th 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, to sign an exclusive Black Flag poster as well as unveil the McFarlane Toys' line of Black Flag figures and resin statues.

As we have covered before, Kenway will be a central element in the game. The ship itself will have upgradeable navigation and weapons options.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft booth # 135 in Comic Con will have a small recreation of Chicago from July 18 to 21 to promote Watch_Dogs. Ubisoft has made a Rayman Legends demo available in the Gamespot booth, as well as outside Comic Con. If you cannot attend the convention, you can play the game at either the Nintendo Gaming Lounge in San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina or the Xbox Gaming Lounge in Machester Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Finally, Ubisoft has four panels planned for each of their upcoming games. The South Park:Stick of Truth Panel will be at July 18 from 5 to 6 PM, the Assasin's Creed IV: Black Flag panel at July 19, 2 to 3 PM, the Splinter Cell:Blacklist panel also on the 19th from 5 to 6 PM, and finally the Watch_Dogs panel on July 20 from 6 to 7 PM.
