Castlevania is a staple franchise for Konami and it wasn’t too long ago that the video game series was adapted to an adult animated series on Netflix. The overall narrative of this first season, which is currently available to stream on Netflix, only contains four episodes, making it a quick watch.
Within the first season, viewers watched as Count Vlad Dracula Tepes created nonstop havoc on civilians of Wallachia after his wife was accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake. Now out of control, humanity must put their faith and hope into Trevor Belmont, a disgraced monster hunter.
As mentioned, the first season only has four episodes that range from twenty to twenty-five minutes long. Now the animated series is gearing up for its big return with eight episodes later this year and we have a brand new trailer showcasing the upcoming season.
We know that the beloved character Hector from the series will make an appearance when the season airs on October 26, 2018. This is a Netflix exclusive and as such viewers will be able to binge through the entire season. Likewise, this is still holding its mature rating so we can be sure that executive producer, Adi Shankar, will not be pulling any punches.
There is a little more than a month to wait before we can stream the series through our Netflix subscription, but until then we suggest going back and giving the first season a watch once again and of course, you’ll want to check out the latest trailer posted right above.
