Battlefield 1 released back in 2016 and it’s still going strong with gamers enjoying new patches from EA DICE. Recently the development team sent out a new patch one of which helps out a few issues that gamers have been dealing with for some time now.
For instance, the load time for when players enter the Soldier customization screen has been cut down. Likewise, there has been a few changes made to the multiplayer experience by limiting the number of disconnects and fixing the map voting system.
However, outside of that, players who own a copy of Battlefield 1 will have the chance to download the Apocalypse expansion. This expansion adds content for multiplayer gameplay such as vehicles, weapons, and maps. But don’t wait too long to claim it as the expansion will only be free until August 6, 2018.
With that said, Battlefield 1 is not the only game featured in this free DLC giveaway from EA DICE. Battlefield 4 is also getting some of the spotlight with gamers being able to download two DLC packs for the game.
Battlefield 4 DLC packs will include China Rising and Naval Strike. Through these two DLC packs, players will receive new maps, weapons, vehicles, and more. This can mark a great value and keep you playing both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 while we wait for the next main installment to release.
That next installment, Battlefield V, is currently set to release on October 19, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One platforms.
