Arriving in September, Nintendo Switch owners will be able to partake in a similar subscription service to that of PlayStation’s PS Plus and Xbox One’s Gold Subscription. A Monthly fee will activate both multiplayer and other benefits. Currently, Amazon offers pre-purchase for those who can’t wait to get involved, you’ll be able to snag 3-month and 12-month subscriptions for $7.99 and $19.99. Of course, you can also head to the Nintendo eShop when the online service launches and directly purchase it from there.
From the launch players will be able to access 20 NES games and there will be other features such as smartphone app compatibility, cloud backup for save data and special deals.
In other Nintendo news, Surgeon Simulator will be coming to the Switch.
Surgeon Simulator, the poster child of many lets plays back in 2013/2014 is set to receive a release on Nintendo’s hybrid console, The Switch.
