Valve Will Attend Gamescom

July 23, 2018 by Jordan Coetsee

Valve will show face at the yearly Gaming Event.

Valve will be attending the German event, Gamescom, this year. While the company hasn’t made it known as to what they’ll be showing, theres a fairly decent chance that we’ll be seeing Artifact, the collectible card game inspired by Dota 2 (which is expect to launch sometime this year) during the event.

Company boss Gabe Newell said earlier this year the card game is just the first more, “new games” from Valve.

“Artifact is the first of several games that are going to be coming from us,” said Newell at the time. Sadly, we don’t expect Half-Life 3 to be one of the “several games.”

I’m sure we’ll also be able to expect some Valley of The Gods gameplay from Valve-Owned Campo Santano. As of right now, we don’t really know what else Valve has up their sleeves. But the gaming behemoth that is Valve, I’m sure it’s going to be quite exciting.

In other news, Microsoft has stated that they’ll also make an appearance at Gamescom this year.
