Like Destiny, The Division’s release was considerably overrated. It was only after a year of consistent updates, bug fixes and content additions did the game more or less live up to the standard that was promised.
I guess Ubisoft’s hard work is indicative of the success that The Division 2 is already receiving, CEO Yves Guillemot recently revealed that The Division 2’s beta has just become the fastest-registering beta in the history of the company, surpassing the original Division by over four times.
Looks like sunny skies are on the Horizon for Ubisoft’s next third-person MMO, let’s just hope they manage to learn from previous mistakes.
