Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts are going to go head to head, but that doesn't mean they both can't peacefully coexist in the same ecosphere.
According to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, whose predictions on video games have been some of the most accurate (Bhatia predicted that the PlayStation 4 would cost less than $400 a week before the price was revealed) Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts will both be best-sellers despite being released within a week of each other, with the former title capping out at 14 million units sold.
Bhatia also predicts that one-third of all Battlefield 4 sales would come through PC, but that only 10% of Call of Duty: Ghosts sales would be through PC. It's a prediction that makes sense given the continued popularity of Battlefield 4 on the PC and the Call of Duty series' focus on consoles.
Battlefield 4 is set for an October 29 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Next-gen versions are also planned.
