Jriquelme, the maker of such case mods like the stunning Black Ops 2 console mod, seen here, has teamed up with Sony to create this one-of-a-kind PlayStation 3 as a gift for Rockstar Games.
The artwork, first seen last November, graces the modded case in shiny new colors. More impressively, the text, which reads "GRAND THEFT AUTO V" lights up in blue when the system is turned on. You can see how that looks in the images below.
The case mod is just one of many fan-made creations (though in this case it's a semi-official mod made at the request of Sony) that have since graced the Internet. Among the many creations we've seen, we happen to like this fan-made PS3 start-up video of the game, this iFruit concept phone based on the phone used by the protagonists in the game itself, and this HUD (or heads-up display) as it's envisioned by the fans.
Before too long, we can expect the fans to come up with even more marvelous creations.
