Several screenshots suggest Valve is working on projects such as Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3 and the Source 2 engine. The listing comes from a mailing list within in software program used to track projects and bugs called Jira.
For brief moments, users found a hole in Jira and were able to take screenshots of the mailing list. According to the anonymously submitted screenshots, one of the projects listed as Half-Life 3, shows 42 employees working on the game. The images also suggest groups working on Left 4 Dead 3, Source 2 and something named The Grange. Other project listings include names like "Steam Box" and "Episode 3". To see the images in questions, you can view them on Valvetime.net.
As for the credibility of these reports, the screenshots come from an anonymous source so please stay seated and patient before you declare the announcement of Half-Life 3.
In the past Gabe Newell trolled fans about Half-Life 3 (look at desktop background in the above picture) but nothing official came from it. Until DOTA 2 releases this summer, don't expect anything new from Valve.
