GOG Kicks Off Summer Sale With Torchlight for Free

June 18, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Good Old Gaming’s No DRM Summer Sale begins.

Runic Games' Torchlight is free through CD Projekt's GoG.com until June 20th with the offer kicking off the site's current round of promotions.

The Torchlight promotion is part of GOG's 'No DRM Summer Sale' which will see over 500 games on sale over 17 days with 150 games will be 85 per cent off. The majority of the discounts run between 50 and 85 per cent.

Among the other titles being included in the promotion are Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 as well as Planescape: Torment. Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare are currently 90 per cent off and can be picked up for just $4.48 currently.

Some of the publishers included in the sale are Electronic Arts, Activision, Atari, Ubisoft and Square Enix but indies haven't been left out. Legend of Grimrock, FTL: Faster Than Light, Hotline Miami and Resonance are all being discounted.

GOG has also released 11 new Mac games today bringing System Shock 2 to Mac for the very first time. Realms of Arkania, Nox, MegaRace 1 & 2 are also among the games brought to Apple's computers.

Most of these offers are temporary so be sure to check out the site regularly.

If you're looking to make even more savings a new Humble Bundle has been launched which includes four games as standard plus one for Android devices and two more if you pay higher than the average $4.34.
