Naughty Dog’s incredible third-person shooter, The Last of Us has just hit anew milestone. Taking to Twitter the company has announced that the title has sold a total of 17 million copies sold worldwide.
‘Today is the 5th Anniversary of The Last of Us’ release. Over 17 million of you have taken this journey with us and your love, support, and fandom for these characters and their story has been incredible. We can’t wait to continue it with Part II.’
The Last of Us is no doubt hailed as a hallmark in modern gaming, with is incredibly impressive combat, powerful characterization and visually stunning environments in a familiar ‘zombie’ setting, The Last of Us is a game you’ll pick up and won’t put down until it is finished. Let’s hope that the Part II will be just as groundbreaking!
