Looks like Nintendo is going for performance over looks, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the latest iteration in the brawler franchise is going to run at a solid 60FPS in both docked and undocked mode.
The news comes from Siliconera who now reports that the game will run in 60FPS regardless of whether you are playing docked or handheld. The title will also be native 1080p when you play on the TV, and 720p in portable mode (which, in case you were wondering, is the screen’s maximum resolution).
This is pretty great news if you prefer a smooth running game over the sharp pops and glints of graphics-focused title.
In other Super Smash Bros. news, all fighters will make a return in this version of the game.
One of the biggest games Nintendo unveiled for E3 this year is Super Smash Bros Ultimate. After a previous Nintendo Direct announced news of a new Super Smash Bros video game coming to the Nintendo Switch, we now have a bit more information regarding the actual game.
For starters, the title is Super Smash Bros. ultimate and its been confirmed that every character who has ever made an appearance in a Super Smash Bros game will be present. This means that the roster is going to be massive and already we know that Ridley from the Metroid franchise is present to be a new fighter.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is releasing on December 7, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
