E3 is winding down. The games have been shown off, the announcements have spread online like wildfire and for the most part, everyone seemed to have receive something to look forward in playing. Now developers are gearing forward in delivering fans these incredible video game titles. However, news is starting to spread online regarding Eidos Montreal Studio’s David Anfossi and his take on The Last of Us Part II.
David Anfossi is the studio head for Eidos Montreal, a subsidiary for Square Enix that was present to showcase their next big release, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The title also had gameplay footage shown to the masses where there were some similarities between the title and Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us Part II.
Both titles features stealth mechanics as players roam around a forest area taking out the enemy targets. However, it was during the gameplay footage of The Last of Us Part II that David replied to a tweet praising the animation of the upcoming game. David stated that the animations for The Last of Us Part II were fake, but the tweet had since been deleted.
Hi #naughtydog fans. Please don’t be tough on me, just bad wording from à french speaking person. Always been a big fan of #Uncharted and #LasOfUs games; played all of them and #lastofus2 is on my list. And what @naughtydog does is a ref to me. Sorry for this situation…

Now David is claiming the wording he used was bad due to bad translation on his part. We’re not sure just what David meant to say online if it was actually the case of a bad translation but regardless we’re eager to hear more about both The Last of Us Part II and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
