Amidst all of the fanfare surrounding yesterday's press conferences, smaller announcements have become lost. Well, it appears Grand Theft Auto V has been making the rounds. A batch of new screenshots has hit the phase space, and depict a game that is absolutely gorgeous. This could be seen as the news GTA fans have been waiting for.
Grand Theft Auto V may end up being a hallmark of this generation. While the screenshots here are more than likely taken off the PC version of the game, it goes without saying that the console versions shouldn't be that far behind.
Most news up until this point has come in the form of mock maps or grainy screenshots. Many have predicted that though the game won't be present at E3, that it will start making a name for itself during the expo. With this bunch of screenshots, we can say that those predictions may be right on the money. The game releases on September 17 later this year, so there isn't much time left for meandering in terms of publicity.
