Microsoft started their E3 press conference with the reveal of Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain for the Xbox One and showed off what the new title would feature. This new Metal Gear Solid 5 trailer expands upon a lot of what we already saw in the first trailer reveal.
The trailer, full of terrible lip syncing, details an open world, brand new stealth tactics (stealth horses!), dynamic weather and a multitude of ways to travel. Konami's new game will use the new Fox Engine, built specifically with the next generation of games in mind.
Previously Metal Gear Solid Games relied more on a linear stealth structure. In Metal Gear Solid 5, time will pass in real time as you can make tactical decisions in not one particular way, granting freedom to the player. If your stealth fails miserably and guards take notice, you can then grab a gun and either wield a sniper rifle at range or engage in close quarters combat.
Although Microsoft revealed Metal Gear Solid at their E3 press conference, it won't release as an exclusive title. PS4 owners will also see the release but Konami did not confirm any other platforms at this time.
