Yesterday 2K released a teaser trailer for NBA 2K14 and YouTuber IPodKingCarter has had a go at breaking down the footage to give us some idea of what we might expect from the title.
The full game is set to be revealed tomorrow which will hopefully include some gameplay as the footage included in the trailer is not from in-game. In fact, it seems 2K took the best footage from NBA 2K13, mixed it together, and made their teaser for the next entry in the series.
Does this suggest the game will simply be a rerun of last year's installment? We'll find out tomorrow but as the game is coming out in October – ie, most likely before the PS4 and Xbox One are launched – we probably shouldn't expect anything too radical in terms of changes to the engine or gameplay.
While Carter mentions E3 2K have confirmed that while they will be attending meetings at the convention they will not be demonstrating any games.
The main thing to take from this is that 2K haven't shown any new footage yet, it's all recycled and we'll get our first proper taste of the game tomorrow. You can see both the teaser and Carter's comments below.
