Company of Heroes 2 which is set to be released on PC on June 25th has a new trailer entitled 'More than Tanks'. As the name suggests, it showcases some of the other units you'll be able to bring to the battlefields of World War 2. Of course, there are also lots of tanks.
Would be generals will have access to an array of infantry units as well as heavy artillary and mobile missile deployers which is probably taking a few liberties with history but that's all part of the fun.
Yesterday, Relic Entertainment released the 'Above the Battlefield' trailer which encouraged players to take command of their troops on the Easter Front during winter of 1941 which was one of bloodiest stages in the conflict as Germany advanced into the Soviet Union at the cost of fourteen million lives.
Pre-orders of the title earn players Theatre of War mini-campaign and additional skins for use in multplayer. Both the German and Soviet armies will also come with special 'Doctrines' for pre-purchasers which boost various attributes of the two armies.
The original Company of Heroes made it onto our list of the ten greatest strategy titles for PC and hopefully its sequel will live up the lofty heights set by the first game.
