The latest Halo Bulletin is out and it's revealed a whole lot of changes that are coming to Halo 4. The game's weapons are getting an overhaul as a part of the new weapons tuning program, which has been done with the help of the community.
To summarize:
- The Battle Rifle is having its range reduced, the SAW's damage is being increased to match 2x assault rifles, and 2-shot melee has also been confirmed.
- Beam weapons will not see any changes, but the Mantis and Hog chainguns are having their damage buffed.
- To speed up the way the game is played, every mode in matchmaking will be getting a 110% movement speed boost.
- Slayer Pro will be receiving an assault rifle load-out for added diversity in gameplay.
- The DLC playlists will return to the rotation, and the Majestic DLC will see a return next week, starting June 3rd.
In addition to the many changes, every map in the matchmaking rotation will be getting updated with new ordnance drops and additions such as lifts and lights to change things up.
