The Last of Us will be hitting the Playstation 3 console exclusively on June 14 this year. The game has been touted by many as a surefire Game of the Year candidate, and early reports indicate that these estimates aren't far off. Apparently, the zombie formula is still going strong.
At any rate, many expect The Last of Us to be a very single-player centric game. That's all well and good, but when you run out of content, the experience is over. Naughty Dog, the game's developer, knows this and have devised a plan to keep gamers happy long after their purchase. This crowd-pleasing tactic will come in the form of downloadable content, which will publish in the months prior to the game's release.
Naughty Dog will be offering a "Season Pass" for the first few iterations of DLC, which means that players will be able to pay a lump sum of $19.99 for access to to all of the content, which is valued by Sony at $30.00.
