While this may not mean anything too significant in terms of Mojang games coming to PlayStation platforms it does seem to hint that perhaps there is a developing relationship between Sony and Notch. Minecraft is currently only available on Xbox 360 due to a console exclusivity deal however, once that deal expires the studio will be free to port the game to PS3 or PS4.
In March Mojang's Jens Bergenstein commented that the when the Microsoft contract "runs out we'll consider Minecraft for PlayStation, but Wii U is very unlikely."
Alternatively, Mojang could be in the process of developing another title for PlayStation platforms.
Regrettably, the console was not supplied with the necessary cables so it hasn't been revealed if it works yet. Even so, it's not a bad way to get such a noted developer's attention.
Sony's E3 press conference is set for 18:00 PT (21:00 ET) on June 10th which works out at 02:00 BST on June 11th in Europe. E3 itself begins on June 11th and runs until June 13th.
