Japanese TV show Pokemon Smash is set to share details of the upcoming Pokemon X and Y weekly it has been announced while the games have been rated in Australia and new screenshots have been released.
Nintendo 3DS Blog notes that while there's no guarantee the information Pokemon Smash reveal will be new at least Pokemon fans will have a steady stream of information to look forward to.
Bulba News Now has unearthed the rating for Pokemon X on the Australian Classification Office's website. The games have been rated PG and mild themes of violence have been suggested. Most notably however, is the fact that beside the Pokemon X title are the words 'Multi Platform'. Nintendo has only announced Pokemon X and Y for 3DS so it's unclear if this was simply a mistake or there are plans to bring the games to Wii U at some point.
Pokemon X and Y were first announced in January and will be the first core Pokemon titles to be developed for 3DS this October. The latest gameplay trailer has revealed new ways in which trainers can use Pokemon to navigate the game world while a breakdown of the details contained in the trailer looks at what can be discerned about the Kalos region where the games are set.
A new Eevee evolution, Sylveon, has been revealed as has a new Mewtwo evolution.
