New DLC has been announced for Metro: Last Light by publisher Deep Silver which will see two story missions, one solo challenge and additional tools added to the game.
The Chronicles and Faction Packs will include new single-player gameplay which "expands" the story, Deep Silver commented. The Faction Pack, which will be released first, is set to hit in June. A new solo challenge will be presented in the form of the Tower Pack which is described as being for veteran Metro players.
Meanwhile, the Developer Pack will give "creative players some interesting tools with which to explore the world of Metro."
The game's season pass is available for $14.99 and those with the pass will save money should they decide to purchase all of the Last Light's DLC as well as an exclusive weapon, the Abzats. PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 25% off between now and June 5th.
Metro's creative director, Andrew Prokhorov, commented "Artyom's story may have been conluded in Metro: Last Light, but there are other characters with stories to tell, some familiar locations that fans of the Metro series wanted to revisit, and some new challenges that 4A wanted to explore.
"Since completing the game we have been working on these new stories and hope to release them throughout the summer," he added in a press release.
Last Light topped the game chart in the UK upon release and you can read our review here.
