In this morning's brief Nintendo Direct, Nintendo president Reggie Fils-aime revealed at the end of the pre-recorded show that Best Buys in both the United States and Canada will demo Nintendo's unreleased games during the week of E3.
With Nintendo choosing to skip the traditionally large press conference during the week long trade show, they will instead provide demos to North American Best Buys for players to experience for themselves the already announced and unknown games of E3.
Today's Nintendo Direct announced an August release date for the Super Luigi DLC – the expansion to New Super Mario Bros. U and a September release date for the Wonderful 101. When considering the upcoming game reveals at E3, the newly announced partnership with Sega and the reveal of a new Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games iteration, Best Buys will show plenty of new Wii U titles.
Just don't expect to see any EA games.
E3 will begin the week of June 9th.
