Fable developer and Microsoft first party studio Lionhead is looking for new staff to "add new ideas to existing franchises" according to job listings which have appeared online.
Lionhead is looking to recruit an animation director as well as an "experienced" core technology programmer. The job postings seem to suggest that the studio's future titles, including the likely Fable 4, will be developed using EPIC's Unreal Engine.
"The ideal candidate is someone who has leading industry experience on AAA titles, including large scale RPG, Action Adventure and RTS genres," the listing for the programmer reads.
Candidates for the animator position should have experience working across multiple platforms according to the billing for that post.
Microsoft announced that "less than ten percent of staff" had been let go from Lionhead following the successful completion of Kinect title Fable: The Journey. They also confirmed that work on the studio's next project had begun.
It has also been suggested that the UK studio is transitioning "from a retail focused game developer into a provider of Entertainment as a Service."
A LinkedIn posting earlier this year revealed that the studio appears to be working on a MMO-RPG for the next Xbox, possibly set in the Fable universe.
Last month, John Needham, a veteran MMO developer was appointed as president of Lionhead, further suggesting that at least some future titles from the studio will take place in that genre.
