Psyonix has just launched the latest update for the explosive football title, Rocket League. Update 1.4.3, most notably known as the “Tournaments” update gives players the ability to create and join tournaments for the game online.
Those who own a Switch console will be getting a little bit more than everyone else, one is a performance mode which prioritizes framerate over graphics, the second is a graphical mode, prioritize graphical quality over framerate, and some general improvements to the visual quality of the game on Nintendo’s console across the board.
Check out the full list of changes, as well as the tournament mode that is arriving to the game, down below. Rocket League is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with cross-platform play available between the PC and PS4, or PC, Xbox One, and Switch versions of the game.
Rocket League pits players controlling remote-controlled rocket cars against each other in football matches, the premise is as you’d imagine, get the ball in the goal. Easy right? Not at all, this super addictive game will have you punting hours into perfecting your shots, using sneaky speed tactics and handling your vehicle. I raged quit the game pretty quickly but I know tons of people that would never delete Rocket League from their library.
