It's not much to look at, but it's a nice treat for anyone who considers themselves a fan of the Battlefield series. Today, EA and DICE released the full screenshot of a Battlefield 4 scene, which they've been teasing for quite some time through the dissemination of small slides over social media, including Twitter and Facebook.
The scene contains a picture of Michael K. Williams, best known for his role as Omar in the HBO crime series, The Wire, and who plays the role of one of the main characters in the upcoming FPS. It has him leaning behind a wall with a light machine gun as two enemy soldiers, presumably Russians, make their way down a flooded corridor.
As Omar says on the show, "When you come at the king, you best not miss." We've little reason to believe that he'll not turn out victorious in this particular encounter, given the prominence of his role in the game. It does, however, build some small amount of suspense and raise a few questions as to what he's doing in that particular location, and with whom he's fighting against.
More details about the game's single-player campaign can be found here. Be sure to click on the image above for a full resolution version of the screenshot.
Battlefield 4 is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next-gen platforms including the PlayStation 4.
