A head's up to all players of both Dragon's Dogma and the just released Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. A recent title update has been known to corrupt save data across both titles.
The news comes directly from the game's publisher, Capcom. Over at Capcom Unity, their primary community liaison, Greg Moore, suggests the following:
"To prevent the possibility of permanent loss of your data, please copy your existing save data (whether it be DD or DDDA) to an external storage device or cloud whenever possible–especially if you are picking up the game for the first time in awhile or switching over to Dark Arisen for the first time."
It's also noted that, for those experience issues repeatedly, they should try to play the game offline while the matter is being investigated. That and how Capcom is working diligently to correct the matter as soon as possible.
