Fornite iOS Has Allegedly Made Over 1 Million USD In Three Days

March 22, 2018 by Jordan Coetsee

Fornite Mobile’s earnings match the hype.

Last week Friday, Fortnite iOS launched for mobile platform in selected areas, and while the game was only available via invite codes, the mobile port became number 1 on the free-top-play chart, in a matter of hours. Now we have received news that the earnings from the subsequent success have translated pretty well from the hype. According to data from Sensor Tower, which is a company that monitors mobile applications, the game has already generated over $1.5 million USD in revenue, and has reached this in under three days.

While yes the figure is pretty impressive – it doesn’t come even near to other competitors such as Pokemon GO which made over 6 million USD in just 4 days (that being said, it did release far more widely than Fortnite: Battle Royale)

Fortnite: Battle Royale is available for iOS 11 and will not work on devices running iOS 10 or older. Also, the game will not work on every device. You should have at least an iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2 or the latest 9.7-inch iPad. Also, since this is a multiplayer game, it will require a constant internet connection.

‘Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile devices! On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates.

Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One and now iOS.
