The DLC for BioShock Infinite have yet to be announced, but we know they're on the way, especially since the game's publisher, 2K Games, and its developers at Irrational Games are pre-selling them in the DLC Season Pass.
In any case, it looks like one of the game's developers accidentally let details about one of the DLC missions slip in his LinkedIn profile. According to the CV of senior animator Michael Sheehan, the first DLC pack will introduce a new companion in place of Elizabeth.
Sheehan, who served as the "primary animation resource" for the pack, states that he's been "providing animation and R&D for a new AI companion character" though it's unknown who that character might be, or whether players will even take on the role of Booker DeWitt in the pack.
Without spoiling too much, there's a slight chance that Booker and Preston E. Downs could be teaming up for the pack, but that remains to be seen.
BioShock Infinite is currently available on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
We have covered the topic of BioShock Infinite in a number of articles, including criticism on the game's reliance on audio logs, and a deconstruction of Elizabeth's AI.
