DEADPOOL Set for June Release

April 29, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The mercenary is set to star on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this summer.

High Moon Studio's videogame adaptation of Marvel's DEADPOOL is set to be released on June 25th in North America and three days later on June 28th in Europe publisher Activision has announced.

DEADPOOL is set to be launced on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game has a lower than usual retail price of $49.99 on console and $39.99 on PC.

In North America pre-orders of the game will earn you the GRT Plaza and Inside the Towers Challenge Mode Stages from GameStop or a $5 voucher for selected comics with Amazon. Pre-order the title from GAME in the UK or GameStop in Ireland and you'll pick up the Merc with a Map Pack which unlocks two new maps for Challenge Mode as well as the D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force bonus costumes.

Last week it was announced that Psylocke and Mister Sinister will star in the game alongside Wade Wilson. The game is being written by Daniel Way who also pens the DEADPOOL comics so hopefully the title will stay true to the source material.
