Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Gets A Trailer

April 26, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

And it still looks mighty weird.

With the PS3 release of Deadly Premonition just a few days away, Sony has released a trailer for the upcoming Director's Cut:

Yup. Still looks like Twin Peaks: The Video Game.

The original Deadly Premonition was released in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and has since become a cult hit. It has the distinction of having the "Most Critically Polarizing Survival Horror Game", according to Wikipedia.

And it's true; there are just as many people who love it to death as there are who simply don't get it. Many have taken issue with the visuals, which are fairly antiquated to put it mildly. Whereas others believe that it's part of the charm, which is also putting it mildly.

Though even its most ardent defenders cannot deny that the controls were a mess, so hearing about enhance controls is surely good news for anyone interested in taking a dip for a second time. Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut arrives on April 30.
