Today the Pokemon Company announced that the mythical Pokemon Deoxys will be given to players in a special distribution event for Pokemon 2 Black and Pokemon White 2.
Deoxys will also be made available as a Deoxys-EX card in the Pokemon Trading Card Game: Black and White – Plasma Freeze expansion.
According to a press release issued to accompany the accouncement of the promotion "Beginning May 8, players of the Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 videogames can add Deoxys to their Pokemon party through a special character distribution via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service. Fans of the Pokemon TCG can also celebrate the return of this imposing Phychic-type Pokemon with its appearance as a powerful Deoxys-EX card in the new Pokemon TCG: Black and White – Plasma Freeze expansion, coming to retail stores nationwide the same day."
Trainers who pick up Deoxys in the games can travel to Nacrene City in order to have the Pokemon shift formes between Normal, Attack, Defence and Speed forme so that players can be prepared for any situation. The press release also states the the Deoxys included in the promotion will come with special moves which have yet to be announced.
Players looking to take part simply need a 3DS or DS, a Wi-Fi connection and a copy of either Pokemon Black 2 or Pokemon White 2. In addition, you can have no more than 11 Wonder Cards in your possession. To find out more about this promotion check out the Pokemon website for further details.
