New Okami Game Announcement Coming Next Week

The official Okami Twitter account came out from the cold with an announcement about an announcement—one which they plan to make next week.

The Twitter account stated its apologies for being "kind of out of touch" as of late, and that they'll be dropping an exciting new announcement next week around the beginning of "Golden Week"—also known as ÅŒgon ShÅ«kan, or the "large consecutive holiday" that's set to begin on April 29 until May 5. You can read the tweet below:

こんにちは！最近ちょっとご無沙汰している大神ニュースですが、GW明けくらいには新しいお知らせをドカン！と投下できる気がしていますので、楽しみにお待ちくださいね。現在、着々と準備中。運営壱も、とってもワクワクしています…！#OKAMI

It translates into: "Hello, this is Okami news. Sorry I’ve been kind of out of touch lately, but I have the feeling we’ll be able to drop a fresh announcement like WHAM! around the beginning of Golden Week, so please look forward to it. Right now we’re on track with preparations."

In other words, they've got a new Okami game in the works. We'll keep you up to date with the announcement as it happens.
