Hotline Miami is coming to both the PlayStation 3 and Vita, its developers at Dennaton Games have confirmed.
According to Dennaton Games, players who purchase Hotline Miami on either the PlayStation 3 or the Vita will get a copy on both platforms thanks to Sony's Cross-Buy initiative.
"Hotline Miami will be Cross-Buy so you can buy once and play aon PS3 and Vita for neon murder home and away. Good times," said the developers.
For those not in the know, Hotline Miami is a 2D top-down action developed by a team of two, Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin, who had previously collaborated on Keyboard Drumset Fucking Werewolf. The game is published Devolver Digital and was originally released on October 23, 2012 for Windows. It blends extreme violence and surreal storytelling with stealth mechanics and instant respawns. You die in one hit, so it's up to you to attempt to clear out an entire level of enemies in a single go, before moving on to the next.
Our very own Phil Owen reviewed the PC version of Hotline Miami. If you're a fan of the movie Drive, Hotline Miami should be right up your alley.
