Remember a while back, when EverQuest 2 gave players the ability to order a pizza, in the midst of their game? Well, it's back, this time for all Xbox 360 owners out there.
Polygon reports that available right now is an app that allows one to order a Pizza Hutt pizza directly via Xbox Live. Via the app, one can check out the entire menu and then build his or her very own customized pizza. The best part, if could call it that, is the ability to use motion controls and voice commands, via the Kinect, to place your order.
So basically, if you can't be bothered to pause your game of Halo 4 to either whip out your cell phone or pull out your iPad to order food when the munchies hit, you can instead hit the home button on your 360 controller and use the admittedly eye-catching app's interface, plus wave your hands around in the air.
Polygon's report goes on to state that users can link their Xbox Live and PizzaHut.com accounts to save order settings, in order to quick the process in the future. Plus, one will be able to take advantage of local offers, and even share an order on Facebook, to let all your friends and family (and co-workers) know that you are truly living in the 21st Century.
According to Xbox's Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson:
"We're always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they're interested in… If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn't? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognized brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand."
