Ubisoft Announces Release Date for Call of Juarez Gunslinger

April 22, 2013 by Carli Velocci

Pre-order begins today.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger

Ubisoft announced today that Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be released on May 22 of this year.

The PC digital download takes cues from the tales from the Old West, having encounters with legends such as Butch Cassidy and Jesse James, and having players experience life "on the old trail."

Players who pick this up get to play as Silas Greaves, a bounty hunter who has to track down some of the era's greatest outlaws. So you're the good guy, or rather, as good of a guy as you're going to get in the Call of Juarez series.

Pre-orders are now available, and customers who opt in for it early will also receive Call of Juarez Bound in Blood. Ordering through UPlay gives players access to exclusive weapons.

Last month, Ubisoft released the first trailer, which mimics an older TV western in a good way. Be sure to check it out if you're interested. It promises to be a true homage and if it's anything like the trailer, it just may be.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be available on PC for $14.99.
