Over on the PlayStation Blog Sony have announced that the Jak and Daxter Trilogy is to be launched on PS Vita this June.
Like the PS3 version of the series the game will be fully trophy supported and feature Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2: Renegade and Jak 3. However, the trophies aren't connected with those of the PS3 games meaning there's three new platinum trophies up for grabs.
Also included in the Vita edition are all new touch-based mini-games.
"The power of the PS Vita allows Jak and Daxter Trilogy to feature authentically reproduced graphics from the original games. Holding these games in the palm of your hand has never been more exciting and responsive" the title's executive producer Victor Harris wrote.
You can pick up the the Jak and Daxter Trilogy for €29.99 when it launches this summer. Hopefully Sony will one day make the long-awaited Jak 4 but until then you'll have this to tie you over.
You can see the trailer for the Vita edition of the Trilogy below. For those who might be unaware Jak and Daxter is what Naughty Dog were up to before making the adventures of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series. Naughty Dog's newest IP, The Last of Us, is also set for a June release.
