Bethesda has officially confirmed QuakeCon 2018. The 23rd annual QuakeCon will once again take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, and will run from August 9-12th.
This year Bethesda has announced that it’s “bring your own computer” hall will be double in size compared to 2017, allowing gamers to show off their rigs to other avid players.
‘QuakeCon® will return to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in 2018, inviting thousands of gamers worldwide to participate in the annual four-day video game festival featuring North America’s largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN Party. Founded in 1996, QuakeCon has grown to be one of the most anticipated festivals in gaming, with over 9,000 game enthusiasts from around the globe attending in 2017.’
The annual QuakeCon provides a wide variety of activities and experiences for gamers. Ther will be an array of panels, presentations, tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest gaming accessories and hardware. Ther will also be upcoming content and showcases from Bethesda that will be displayed to the public.
QuakeCon does not charge entrance, which means that the convention will be open to anyone in the general public who are keen on a little bit of Quake content!
