Overwatch Will Be Free This Weekend

Pre-load becomes available from today.

In promotion of Overwatch’s recent lunar event, Year of the Dog, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that this weekend the first-person competitive shooter will be free for Xbox One, PC and PS4.

Starting February 16th and ending on February 19th. The full game will be available to interested gamers, you’ll be able to try out all 26 heroes, all game modes and maps, and you’ll be able to earn loot boxes and unlock cosmetic items.

What’s more, if you do happen to enjoy the title, your progressions will be carried over to the full game if you do happen to purchase it. Just remember if you do want to participate in the free weekend, make sure you have PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold. Learn more about the free weekend, here.
